Mindroom Ranked Arena and Elo ratings

Arena is for rated competition against another player. Its Elo reflects ranked match results, while the global league counts correct answers across supported modes.

Start a game

  1. Open Ranked Arena in Mindroom.
  2. Check the offered settings and pace: simultaneous play or turns when it suits you.
  3. Start searching for an opponent and follow the match invitation.
  4. After playing, inspect the result, Elo change, history and answer review.

Separate Elo standings

Simultaneous matches and matches played with breaks have separate ratings. Do not compare a number in one directly with the other. Check the selected format before starting.

When a match does not start

An invitation can be declined or expire before the game begins. The screen explains what happened and offers another search; this is not a played defeat. Use solo or available unranked bot play to practice without waiting.

Elo and the global league

Elo concerns performance in rated competition. The weekly league awards points for your own correct answers across supported modes. Those two indicators can therefore change differently after one game; each table explains its own rules.
